● Dry Suits

  • During the tour, you’ll be asked to wear special dry suits to help you stay warm and afloat.
  • Dry suits are worn over your personal clothing.
  • The dry suits are one-piece garments that include the top, the trousers and the shoes, so there’s no need to wear your own shoes as well. The shoe part tends to run big; we appreciate your understanding for any inconvenience this may cause.
  • Dry suits in plus sizes and kids’ sizes are limited in number, so if there is no longer any dry suit in the appropriate size for you, you will not be able to take part in the tour.
  • Dry suits are expensive, so please follow the guide’s instructions on how to put them on and take them off. If you do not follow instructions and cause any damage, you will be liable to make compensations.

● Use of Cameras and Smartphones

  • If you wish to bring a camera or a smartphone, please prepare your own waterproof camera/smartphone pouch.
  • During the activity, feel free to use your own devices to take pictures, but remember that it takes place on ice and your devices are not entirely waterproof.
  • It is not our responsibility if your devices get water in them or become damaged or lost during the activity, and no compensation whatsoever will be made.

Outfit

It is recommended that you wear clothing that is light and easy to move in.
Please do not wear skirts.

Outfit

Please do not wear hoodies since they cause chafing around the neck of the dry suit. We recommend wearing a fitted long-sleeve top with an appropriate thickness for the temperature on the day of the tour.

Socks

The recommended sock length is anywhere between mid-calf and above the ankle. That way, you can tuck your trousers into your socks so that they won’t roll up as you put on the dry suit.

Gloves and Beanies

We can lend you gloves for free. As for beanies or sunglasses, please prepare your own.

Other

If you have long hair, please have it tied up. For accessories such as watches, please remove them before the tour to prevent damage or loss.

* You can only bring your camera or smartphone during the activity.
Please leave your valuables at your accommodations.
